PC-DMIS for Arms 101 – Virtual v2024.1 (31210-11-241)
Objectives: This course will give first time users of PC-DMIS Portable a basic understanding of the software and measurements necessary to write and execute inspection plans for Portable Arms. This course covers essential topics such as alignments and proper probing techniques. Students will learn useful PC-DMIS features and programming techniques as they relate to the portable arm.
Course Format: Instructor-led virtual course held online. Students work online while following the instructor (Online Lesson).
Course Length: 3 days. This course is typically taught Monday - Wednesday, for probing, followed by Arms 102 - Scanning (Thursday - Friday). Contact your regional training coordinator to schedule this training: training.us@hexagon.com.
Audience: This course is for PRO, CAD and CAD++ users of PC-DMIS with an Arm (portable coordinate measuring machine).
