PC-DMIS for CMM 202 - Scanning VirtualPC-DMIS for CMM 202 - Scanning Virtual

Objectives:  This course teaches scanning concepts and procedures using the Touch Trigger and Analog Probe.  Students will learn how to execute several types of scans with and without a CAD model.  This course also explains how to export and view the results of a scan.

Course Format:  Instructor-led virtual classroom course held online using Microsoft Teams.  Students work online while following the instructor (Online Lesson).

Course Length:  2 days.  This course is typically taught Thursday and Friday as the second of two courses, following PC-DMIS for CMM 201 (Mon-Wed).** Contact your regional training coordinator to schedule this training:  training.us@hexagon.com

Audience:  This course is for CAD++ users with DCC coordinate measuring machines.    

Required Prerequisites: 

  • PC-DMIS for CMM 201

Suggested Prerequisites: 

  • Approximately 40 hours of hands-on experience with PC-DMIS.
  • Basic Knowledge of PC's in the Windows Environment
  • Internet Access (microphone or phone required to hear instructor)
  • Offline PC-DMIS Seat

**  This course must be scheduled in conjunction with and must be taken directly after the 201 course.
