This eLearning course prepares the student to be able to use blueprints for dimensional inspection. It describes all areas of the title block, 1st and 3rd angle projections, and explains lines and views. The learner is also taught dimensioning and tolerancing symbols.
This eLearning course introduces the student to the math concepts needed to succeed. The course teaches concepts such as integers, using parentheses, rounding, units of length, coordinate systems, and much more. Students will learn about coordinate system translation and rotation as well as the Pythagorean Theorem.
This eLearning course covers Basic Math in PC-DMIS, Basic Trigonometry, Coordinate Systems and Vectors. PC-DMIS Assignment commands, variables and Generic Features are taught. One lesson teaches basic triangles and the Pythagorean Theorem. Cartesian, Polar and Cylindrical coordinate systems are also explained with examples of conversions. Vector theory is explained more simply by discussing an axis change over a unit distance.
This 5-day instructor-led classroom course, held at a Hexagon Solution Center, will give first time users of PC-DMIS a basic understanding of the software and measurements necessary to write and execute inspection plans. The course curriculum includes probe calibration, alignments, measurements, dimensioning, manual and DCC modes and using CAD models.
This 3-day instructor-led classroom course, held at a Hexagon Solution Center, introduces iterative and best fit alignments, measurement strategies, more advanced dimensioning and extended auto features. Automating probe calibrations and using patterns and loops are included.
This 2-day instructor-led classroom course, held at a Hexagon Solution Center, teaches scanning concepts for both Touch Trigger Probe (TTP) and Analog Probe users. Topics include scanning with and without models, using Measurement Strategies and data filtering.
This 3-day instructor-led course, held at a Hexagon Solution Center, applies GD&T to PC-DMIS using the Geometric Tolerance tools and functionality. This course includes GD&T theory and PC-DMIS labs.
